A hot air balloon ride is usually undertaken when the weather is pleasant and there is no rain or thunderstorm in the area. There are experienced crew members and an experienced pilot to guide you and give you the necessary instructions. These rides are organized in Pushkar mainly during the Pushkar Camel Fair while in Jaipur, you can experience the aerial view of the majestic Aravalli Ranges.
An ideal hot air balloon ride is 1 hour long and the operators take you from your hotel to the site and then drop you back to the hotel. However, you must take out 3 hours of time which includes inflating, gearing up, and flight of the balloon.
The starting point of the ride is decided as per the wind conditions while the endpoint cannot be fixed because it totally depends upon the direction in which the wind flows.
•Sep to Nov: 6:15 am (morning) and 4 pm (evening)
•December to March: 6:45 am (morning) and 3:30 pm (evening)
•April to June: 5:45 am (morning)
The price of a Hot Air Balloon Ride varies as per the package and number of individuals on board. It may range from USD 280 to USD 2200.
There are certain restrictions in terms of age and height for the passengers on a hot air balloon. Children below the age of 5, pregnant women, and individuals having a height of less than 1.5 meters are not allowed on a hot air balloon ride.
