Ajmer: Rotary club has signed to adopt 550 government schools of Rajasthan and manage a few of its operations.
The state’s education department has signed the MoU of adoption with Rotary Club, which will now take the responsibility of maintaining cleanliness in these schools. Among the selected schools 50 will belong to the Ajmer district.
District Education Officer Kailash Chand Zanwar said, “The Education Department has signed contract with Rotary Club officials in the presence of Minister of State for Education Vasudev Devanani. Under this, all the cleaning related operations of 550 government schools in the state will now be supervised by the club.” List of the schools that will come under the supervision of the club shall soon be released after sorting out the schools that are not yet under any other development schemes.
