The convocation ceremony of the Rajasthan Secondary Education Board will be held in Ajmer on 24th May. Board President Prof. B.L. Chaudhari said here today that during the function, the state Home Minister Gulabchand Kataria will honor the talented students who get a place in different examinations of the year 2016 and 2017 with medals.
He said that in the ceremony, principals of selected 76 schools at the state, board and district level will be conferred cash prize. The program will be chaired by Education Minister Vasudev Devanani, while the special guest of the function will be, Vice Chancellor of Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati University, Vijay Shrimali and Rukta (National) General Secretary Dr. Narayana Lal Gupta. He said that 09 candidates who got the first position in the eligibility list of the 2016 board examinations will be rewarded with gold medal and silver medal for 238 meritorious students of other preference except for first place.
Similarly, 07 candidates who received the highest marks in the examinations of the year 2017 will be awarded the gold medal and 22 silver medals with be conferred to those who secured second and third position. The gold medal made up of 15 grams gold and silver medal made up of 20 grams of pure silver will be awarded. He said that 16 candidates who got the first position in the eligibility list for various examinations from the year 2016 to 2017 of the board will be rewarded with Gold Medal.
