Jaipur: The classical Hotel Rambagh Palace of Jaipur again appeared in the list of best hotels. The list was prepared by the renowned travel magazine ‘Travel Weekly’.
In its latest list on top ten heritage hotels in the world that was released on Wednesday this week, the magazine ranked Taj Rambagh Palace at sixth position. While ranking the hotel, the magazine quoted Cox & Kings “this 19th-century palace is one of its best-selling hotels among higher-end clients, and it’s easy to see why.”
It was further added that the palace that now holds 78 restored luxury rooms and suites has elaborate interiors with hand-carved marble latticework, sandstone balustrades and ornate cenotaphs. Compliments were given to the Mughal style gardens and 18th-century French architecture of the palace.
It is noteworthy, that this is not the first time the hotel was complimented on such a level. In 2009, it was ranked as the best hotel in the world by Conde Nast Traveller magazine.
