The success of Rajasthan assembly polls is must. Rajasthan Chief Electoral Officer Anand Kumar is busy in smooth execution of the elections. He is continuously guiding the election officials about elections. In fact, this time, Election Commission of India (ECI) has kept the theme of the Election ‘Sugam Matdan’ i.e. convenient polling. Anand Kumar is holding meetings with the senior administrative officers and cops so that all should work together to conduct assembly election without error. Review meetings on the elections preparations are also being held as not to repeat mistakes that were held during 2013 polls.
Kumar has also instructed the election officials to conduct flag march of the security forces in the sensitive category polling booths. To make voters fearless and also to restrict criminal background persons, this march will be conducted. For this reason, more manpower is required in these areas.

Keeping the theme of Sugam Matdan in mind, he asked officials to take the necessary steps in providing basic facilities at the polling centers to the voters. Kumar also asked officials to complete all the electoral within the time as mandated by the Election Commission of India (ECI).
Sugam Matdan aims at bringing specially-abled voters to the polling stations. For that, election officials are asked to prepare the list of specially-abled voters and arrange conveyance and other facilities for them at polling booths.
In Rajasthan, the polling will be held on December 7 and counting will take place on December 11.
