And the added advantage is that you don’t have to deal with the sweltering heat.
Amber Fort is one of Rajasthan’s most mesmerizing forts, and at night it’s even more beautiful. With the courtyards and hallways lit up in a colourful display of lights, the fort is enchanting after dark. The night tour of the fort runs from 7 PM to 10 PM.
A recent government initiative to illuminate the streets and buildings of Jaipur has made the city even more beautiful at night. As per the night tourism project, Chaura Rasta, Tripolia Gate and New Gate will be lit up at night. Plans are also in place to illuminate the historical gates and surrounding areas. Perfect for midnight walks and late-night musings!
Masala Chowk is exactly where you need to be to indulge in some of Jaipur’s most delicious street food. Locals and tourists alike gather here post-sundown to gorge on savouries like samosas, chaat, Golgappas and of course, some Chaai.
You can grab some street food and walk around Fateh Sagar Lake which becomes a beautiful spot to relax while the sun goes down.
Lake Pichola is surrounded by quaint little cafes from where you can get a gorgeous view of the setting sun over the lake. Another great spot to catch the sunset is the Monsoon Palace, which overlooks the Fateh Sagar Lake.
