State’s aviation sector got a with the start of services between Jaipur and Varanasi, and Jaisalmer and Delhi.
The SpiceJet flights linking Jaipur-Jaisalmer-Delhi and Jaipur-Varanasi will operate on Sunday. SpiceJet’s Bombardier Q400 aircraft – SG 2981 will be flagged off on October 29 from Jaipur at 11 am for its first flight to Jaisalmer.
On its return journey, the flight – SG 2982 – will depart at 4:55 pm and reach Jaipur by 6:15 pm. The Jaipur-Varanasi flight will depart from Jaipur 6:25 am and will reach Varanasi at 8:15 am. From Varanasi it will fly at 8:35 am and will reach Jaipur at 10:35 am.
Raje, in a joint press conference with Ajay Singh, Managing Director of Spicejet, said that the expansion of air connectivity across the state and country will not only benefit the tourists but will also help businessmen and general public.
