Neemrana is an ancient town situated on Delhi-Jaipur highway in Alwar district of Rajasthan. It is popular among tourists for the Neemrana Fort Palace, a fort turned into heritage resort hotel. Neemrana Fort Palace is located on a high knoll and provides amazing views of the surrounding beauty.
It is one of the oldest heritage resort hotels in India as it was created in 1986.
Neemrana Fort Palace is famous for providing India's First Zip Tour known as Flying Fox Neemrana. The 1250m high Zip tour gives the high top views of Neemrana Fort Palace, the Aravalli Hills, and the surroundings. Zip lining is one of the most popular and growing adventure sport which gives the thrilling experience of flying between the trees at a height where birds and monkeys hang out.
Flying Fox Neemrana was inaugurated by Sri Banerjee, Secretary of Tourism, Government of India and Sir Richard Stagg KCMG, British High Commissioner to India on 18 January 2009.
It is thrilling 5 zip line adventure with zips up to 400m long. All the 5 zips are given interesting names by the Flying Fox.
The tour takes about 2 hours and runs in every 45 minutes. Due to this zip tour, the Neemrana Fort Palace has become a favorite destination for adventure sport in India.
