The country's first Sculpture Park is started at the Madhavendra Palace of Nahargarh Fort in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The sculptures and unique artworks made by the international level artists will be displayed in this park.
Rajasthan Tourism and some non-governmental organizations have worked together in Sculpture Park. The artwork of country's 14 artists and 6 world wide known artists will be exhibited in the park.
Jaipur has been honored to host the first of its kind scuplture park of the country. Apart from this sculpture park, the heritage museum and hathigaon (a new attraction of elephants) is also on its way of being launched by the hon'able CM.
The exhibition is curated by Peter Negi, Director, Nature Morte Art Ltd. For this project, the Department of Archaeology, Government of Rajasthan and Saat Saath Arts Foundation joined hands. Saat Saath Arts Foundation works for promoting international exchange of visual arts and education initiatives between India and the world.
During the inauguration of the Sculpture Park, 15 Indian and 9 international artists have been chosen to display their collection of art for the year 2017.
