Mock Drill at WTP Jaipur

With Rajasthan Day celebrations on the horizon, the Rajasthan Police conducted a mock drill at the biggest shopping mall and business park of Jaipur, World Trade Park.

Information is that the Abhay Command Centre of the state capital has received some message of the probable presence of terrorist in the mall. Recent unfortunate attacks in Ajmer too could have prompted the officials to take the necessary steps. For the drill to be conducted sans any hassle, all the civilians present in the mall were made to safely evacuate the area.

The objective of such mock drills is to make preparations for the unforeseen situations like terrorist attacks, explosions, etc.

It is essential for security officers to be alert at all times, but at such times when susceptibility of unforeseen disasters are high, these mock drills become essential. In fact, understanding the significance of security need of the hour, state's honorable CM Vasundhara Raje has inaugurated the aforementioned 'Abhay Command Centre', in recent times, to deal with similar situations in the quickest manner possible.
