Jaipur: A cultural training camp is being organized in the auspices of Jaipur City Palace where veterans of different fields will be offering training programs free of cost.
The camp was inaugurated on Monday morning by Queen Mother Diya Kumari at around 12:30 in the afternoon. Thereafter, training camps got started in the Maharaja Sawai Mansingh II Museum, Rangari Sansthan and Saraswati Kala Kendra.
Among the many courses that are being offered in these camps, traditional painting will be taught by Ramu Ramdev, Shyamu Ramdev, Lakshminarayan Kumavat, Babulal Marothiya and Badrinarayan. Kathak and folk dance by Aditi Jain, Sitar playing by Pandit Harihar Bhatt, Guitar by Gaurav Bhatt, photography by Yogendra Gupta, flute by R.D. Gaur, and drama art by Sartaj Narayan Mathur. The other notable veteran trainers participating in the event are Sangeeth Natak Academy award winner Ustad Ahmed and Mohammed Hussain, who will be training students in the intricate aspects of music.
