Irrfan Khan is back to his home land to work on Hindi Medium sequel

Rajasthan borne international star Irrfan Khan is back to his motherland after recovering from cancer. He has been rumored to star in the sequel of 2017 hit Hindi Medium ever since the film hit the screens.

However, the actor was diagnosed with cancer which is why he left for New York for treatment. Now that Irrfan is back as well as good spirits, it is said that he will start shooting for the sequel in Rajasthan from next week along with Pataakha actress Radhika Madan.

Reports suggest that the actor is already in Rajasthan because of personal commitments and will start the shooting from next week.  It will be an important portion after which they will take off for the international schedule. It was initially planned to be set in the US but will now take place in London for which the team recently conducted a recce.

Irrfan recently shares an emotional message with fans on social media for love and support he received from them.

It is said that Kareena Kapoor Khan has been roped in as the leading lady in the Hindi Medium sequel. It is reported that the actress will join the cast after she wraps up the shoot of Akshay Kumar starer- Good News. While Hindi Medium was directed by Saket Chaudhary, the sequel will be directed by Homi Adajania.

While, actress Radhika Madan was firstly seen in Vishal Bhardwaj helmed movie- Pataakha, which was also based in Rajasthan.
