As soon as you enter the Fort, you will pass the Suraj Pole gateway that would welcome you to a completely different era. After that, the Bichla Darwaza would make way to Uttar Pole and you would witness the main courtyard. From there, a few steps would lead you to the spectacular Diwan Khana.

Architecture

Talking about the aesthetics, the fort is a perfect amalgamation of Rajputana and Mughal style of architecture. It is adorned with motifs of flowers and foliage, minarets, mythological paintings, artistic furnishings, Shekhawati frescos, and wall hangings.

Diwan Khana

Diwan Khana is a visual treat that renders the priceless look of Mughal architecture furnished with archaic elements. It also contains a well-stocked library containing rare books from Indian history. Above the library, there is a portion called Duchatta which was the place from where the ladies used to watch the court proceedings going on in the Diwan Khana.

Rooftop Dining

The rest of the Fort is like a hotel with all luxury amenities for the comfort of the guests. It’s a blend of ancient structure fitted and modern facilities in the form of airy rooms and exquisite décor. The rooftop dining features rustic oil lamps below the sky filled with stars. The “Ala Carte” cuisine offers great taste and there is a bar for those who love drinks.
