REET 2018 Cut-off and merit list released, how to check

The Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan (BSER) has released the cut-off and merit list for the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) 2018.
All the candidates can check the same on the official website, the link for which is education.rajasthan.gov.in
REET 2018 was held on February 11, 2018, to fill nearly 25,000 vacancies.
Here’s how you can check your REET cut-off 2018:
- Open the official website of REET at http://education.rajasthan.gov.in/
- Click on the link of REET cut-off district wise 2018
- The cut-off list will be displayed on the official website
- Download the list
- Take a print out for future references
Eligibility criteria:
- Level one primary teacher (general): For this post, all the candidates had to be intermediate or class 12 pass with minimum 50 percent marks from a recognized board or university along with two-year diploma in elementary education or a graduation degree from a recognized university or institute.
- Level one primary teacher (Sanskrit): For this post, all the candidates had to possess Varistha Upadhyay or its equivalent traditional Sanskrit examination with at least 50 percent marks and a two-year diploma in elementary education from a recognized institute or university.
All those candidates who will clear the examination will get REET certificate and which will be valid till three years, if the candidate won't get a job in this time period then the certificate will be considered as invalid and the candidate have to re appear in the examination.
REET is an entrance exam for teachers. The test is mandatory for getting teaching jobs in government schools from Class 1 to Class 8. Paper 1 is meant for teachers opting for Class 1 to Class 5 and Paper 2 for Class 6 to Class 8. It is conducted by both Central government and State governments in India.
