Kota: The primary health center, or Prathmik Swasthya Kendra, in Bhimganj Mandi area in Kota becomes first CHC in the nation to be digitized.
From now on, the records of the patients in the Community Health Center (CHC) will be recorded online. These records will then be made available on computers and smartphones as and when required. The important documents like consultation and examination papers shall also be scanned to be maintained with the patients’ records. Furthermore, arrangements are also being made to add fingerprint biometrics feature to the digitized records.
The digitization of the CHC was started by the CEO and CTO of MedCords, Shreyash Mehta and Nikhil Baheti. The startup MedCords itself, was setup last year by the duo with the motto ‘Your Health, Our Objective’. The online healthcare platform was included in the top ten innovative ideas in a review published by world's biggest tech conference ‘Collision’.
