Celebrated annually, Mewar Festival is the World’s 2nd Living Heritage Festival. Mewar Festival is a welcome festival for the spring season. Wish all your dear ones a Happy Mewar Festival.

Udaipur People celebrate Mewar Festival that is situated near the bank of lake Pichola. This beautiful city is surrounded by marvelous hills. They celebrate this Mewar Festival to protect Indian ancient culture and traditions. People of Udaipur exhibit their heritages during this festival. Few among them are cultural diversity, dance, food, folk music and much more. 

Mewar Festival, a colorful event celebrated by people of Udaipur in Rajasthan. They organize some cultural events and exhibit their culture and traditions. In addition to all these, they also involve in exhibiting a variety of crafts in order to meet the modern traditions and styles. This provides them with a great opportunity to prove their arts and crafts. Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation monitors all the events conducted for those three days on Mewar Festival.

During three days of Mewar Festival, they also organize food exhibition conducted by HRH Group Of Hotels. Here they present variety of Food and beverages. In Mewar Festival event, many professional chefs involve. Besides this, they also perform folk music and dance. Lots of people all over India come and participate in this cultural event. 

The main significance of Mewar Festival is to distribute health and happiness all over India. This festival, in addition, is associated with one more that is Gangur Festival. This festival is mainly celebrated by Women of Udaipur. People were colorful clothes and play folk music and perform a dance. On this day they decorate Idols of God Shiva and Goddess Parvati. They take a special procession to lake Pichola and have a dip of both idols.
